Rick Richardson brings decades of experience and leadership to TRS, where he currently serves as President. He began his career in turbine repair in 1984 at Preco Turbine Services, working during summers and holidays while pursuing his education. Rick earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas, completing his studies in 1991. Before joining TRS, Rick spent 15 years in operations management roles within the financial services industry. In 2007, he joined TRS as Operations Manager and has since held a series of key leadership positions, including Project Manager, Director of Operations, Vice President, and General Manager. His deep industry knowledge and strategic vision continue to drive TRS’s growth and operational excellence.
Monica joined TRS in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over two decades of leadership experience in finance, accounting, and operations across public, private equity-backed and growth-oriented companies. Her background spans industrial services, technology, and manufacturing, with a strong track record of driving scale, improving operational efficiency, and leading transformative financial strategies. Monica began her career in cost accounting before spending several years in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), where she built a strong foundation in strategic modeling and business partnership. She has since held senior roles including Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Controller & Treasurer, and CFO, with deep expertise in cash management, forecasting, M&A integration, and building high-performing finance organizations that support business growth.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. A former Division I tennis player, she brings a competitive and resilient mindset to every challenge. Outside of work, she’s an avid marathoner with over 20 races completed and lives by her personal motto: Find a Way.
Matt joined TRS in 2019 and serves as the Director of Engineering. He has over 22 years of experience in the turbine industry in roles that cover repair engineering, shop operations, and project management. Matt has earned engineering degrees from both Texas A&M and MIT. Matt has also appeared as a contestant on Jeopardy!
Stacey is an accomplished financial professional with over twenty years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, new system implementations, financial consolidations, and process improvements. Prior to joining TRS Stacey’s primary experience lay in the energy sector, while her background started in manufacturing and construction. Stacey has held positions at TRS of Controller and then Director of Finance. Stacey enjoys challenges and provides leadership with daily operational issues as well as long-term team strategies. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, boating, gardening, and small home improvement projects.
Justin Armstrong serves as the Technical Shop Manager at TRS, bringing nearly 18 years of experience in engineering, operations, and management within the heavy frame industrial gas turbine industry. Throughout his career, Justin has held key leadership roles at industry-leading private companies, including Allied Power Group (APG) and Dresser-Rand Leading Edge, where he consistently delivered results through technical expertise, operational efficiency, and team development.
Steve serves as TRS’s Production Manager with over 40 years’ experience in various global Operational Management and Program/Project Management roles. Having broad experience across Plastics, Sheet Metal, Electronics, and Medical Device manufacturing industries, Steve’s focal area is operational efficiency and change management. He attended Houston’s Spring Woods High School and achieved a bachelor’s in Business Management from the University of Houston.
Tammi Richardson joined TRS in 2025 and currently serves as our Sales and Marketing Coordinator, along with both Inside and Outside Sales. With more than 35 years of experience in Inside & Outside Sales, Tammi brings a deep well of knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm to every interaction. Renowned for her warm personality and natural ability to connect with others, Tammi truly never meets a stranger. She leads our marketing efforts, manages CRM data, and plays a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities. Tammi is passionate about building strong relationships and takes great pride in supporting both new and long-standing customers. Outside of the office she loves spending time with her husband and their 2 German Shepherds, Zook & Whiskey.
Jared joined TRS in 2018, bringing over 18 years of experience in engineering, operations, management, and sales within the heavy and light frame industrial gas turbine market. He is responsible for managing key customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, and generating bid proposals for gas turbine component repairs and outage services. Throughout his career, Jared has held leadership roles at several industry-leading companies, including Advanced Combustion Technologies (ACT), now part of Doosan Turbomachinery Services, and Allied Power Group (APG). In these positions, he was instrumental in driving strategic growth and delivering customer-focused solutions.
Charles brings 28 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry with broad knowledge of both gas and steam turbine technology. He began his career in the industry as a general mechanic with Preco Turbine Services. Over the years Charles has worked with GE, Sermatech, APG, and Genex. From his roots at Preco, and now today at TRS, Charles continues to rise up to any challenge put in front of him. He has hands-on experience on the inspection and repair of the many different OEM gas and steam units, has worked on and led field installations, and has proven to be a leader and great mentor in management roles throughout the years. Charlie is also an extremely talented knife maker and antiques restorer.
Sinuhe has been an integral part of the TRS team since 2007, joining straight out of high school. He began his journey as a shop helper, working under the guidance of the shop manager. Over the years, he honed his skills and expertise, eventually becoming a proficient welder. Sinuhe’s dedication and hard work have been instrumental in the success of TRS’s operations. Before joining TRS, Sinuhe’s family had a deep connection to the industry, with his father starting his career at Preco in 1993. This family legacy underscores Sinuhe’s passion for the field and his commitment to excellence. Outside of work, Sinuhe cherishes spending time with his two boys, highlighting his dedication to his family and career. He continues to be a valuable asset to the TRS team, embodying the company’s values of dedication and skill.
Connor has been with TRS Services for 4 years with the last year in a sales role. His journey at TRS began on the shop floor, where he served as a utility worker supporting multiple departments from NDT and welding to CNC machining and shipping. Prior to joining TRS, Connor worked with another turbine repair company as a laborer and welder gaining valuable experience in the turbine maintenance world.
