TRS Services continues to grow through strategic partnerships, industry leadership, and community engagement. The Battle Investment Group acquisition fuels expansion in natural gas power, while alliances with Hughes Technical Services and ST Power Services strengthen TRS as a trusted alternative to OEM solutions. TRS remains committed to innovation, sharing expertise at industry conferences and investing in new capabilities. Meanwhile, employees give back through charitable initiatives, reinforcing the company’s dedication to both business excellence and social responsibility.
In March 2024, TRS announced its acquisition by Battle Investment Group. Cliff Orr, Partner at Battle, stated, “TRS is well-positioned to capitalize on both domestic and international market opportunities. Natural gas-generated power is key to meeting electricity demand growth and supporting renewable energy integration. We’re excited to partner with TRS to drive sustained expansion and development, including significant investments in new capabilities.”
In November 2023, TRS employees joined efforts to support various causes close to our hearts. We participated in the Kidney Foundation Walk at the Houston Arboretum to raise awareness and fight against kidney failure and disease. Our teams also volunteered at the local SPCA and Houston Food Bank, donating time and essential items to help those in need. Additionally, TRS sponsored a Veterans Breakfast at a local school to honor and support our troops.
March 2023 — TRS partners with Hughes Technical Services, a division of AP4, to provide a comprehensive Alstom repair and maintenance alternative. TRS Technical Sales Manager Charles Wood, and Matt Sokol, Director of Engineering, presented a case study on Repairs on GT11™ and GT13™ Components at the AOG conference. Charles and Matt walked everyone through the process of reverse engineering and showing various stages of our repair process.
In December 2020, TRS Services and ST Power Services Consultants (STPSC) formed a strategic alliance to offer competitive, reliable aftermarket solutions for Alstom power generation technologies, including GT8™, GT11™, GT13™, GT24™, and GT26™. This partnership provides plant owners an alternative to costly OEM services, helping them stay competitive and support the transition to clean energy. The alliance is fully operational, offering innovative solutions for thermal power plants globally.
At TRS, we are committed to protecting our employees, customers, and communities from COVID-19. We’ve implemented daily precautions, including health education, surface disinfection, temperature checks, and mandatory handwashing. Non-essential workers are remote, and we offer COVID-19 relief pay for affected employees. Free Teladoc services are available, and our response team ensures we stay agile.
