COVID Update: TRS Working Hard to Protect our Workers and Support our Customers

Here at TRS we believe that it's our responsibility as individuals and as an organization to do everything that we can to protect ourselves, our families, our businesses (including those of our customers), and our communities from the spread of COVID-19. While we're learning more daily, we're committed to at least taking the following precautions until this pandemic passes:

-Daily Precautions: health education, disinfection of surfaces twice per day, and mandatory temperature taking and hand washing as people enter our premises.
-Work From Home: All workers that are non-essential to the production process are working from home.
-COVID-19 Relief Pay: All of our workers matter to us, so if any of them contract COVID-19 (or experience the sickness in their household), TRS will provide up to three weeks of paid leave.
-Teladoc Services: All of our employees have access to free Teladoc services.
-COVID-19 Response Team: We've set up a response team to ensure we're aligned and agile as things change.

As changes occur, we will provide updates about any new actions that we will be taking as an organization. If anyone has additional information or thoughts that could help improve our response, we're all ears (just please stay at least 6 ft away). Also, if you’re in an outage and need support, our shop is open and here to help.

Stay healthy and safe everyone.

TRS Services Acquires American Aeromotive Components

HOUSTON, Feb. 4, 2020 -- TRS Services has acquired the assets of Houston-based American Aeromotive Components (AAC). The AAC acquisition enables TRS Services to add the manufacturing of replacement parts to its current light industrial and aeroderivative repair services. "AAC has a long history of manufacturing parts for light industrial turbines and aeroderivative gas turbine manufacturers," said TRS Services President Greg McAuley. "This acquisition strengthens TRS's ability to provide a new selection of quality engineered solutions to the light industrial market, and deepens our firm's market-leading technical expertise."

In addition to enhancing TRS's light industrial and aeroderivative manufacturing capabilities, the AAC acquisition expands TRS's repair capabilities for heavy industrial buckets and blades and provides additional CNC grinding and machining capabilities.

"TRS exists to help our customers minimize turbine downtime and reduce life-cycle costs. Adding AAC's complementary capabilities to our existing technical toolkit further expands our ability to meet our customers' needs with deep expertise across a wider array of heavy and light turbine platforms," said TRS Services.
